Paris: Acting Like a Local & a Tourist

Hi, loves.  For the past week I have been enjoying some of Paris's greatest sights with my class on trips to different areas but I haven't had the chance to actually do what I want to do at these sights.  Luckily, I had a 3-day weekend to change all of that and not only did I feel like a tourist but I also felt quite like a Parisian at some points.  

Le Metro...my transportation for the month that I'm here.  I'm so local.

Saturday night was our night to be locals.  We went to a bar called Nostalgique French Pub and had so much fun.  It was no where near any of the tourist-y areas so we felt--or, at least I felt--very Parisian.

Today I went to the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe and it was amazing!  We walked through the golden triangle which has stores such as the one pictured below along with Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Celine, and so much more.  Drool.

So glorious. 

Overall, I would say today has been a very successful day.  I finished my work in the morning then went out to play in the afternoon and now I'm exhausted and ready for bed!  This week, I have 3 days of class then I'm off to London for the weekend, not bad...not bad at all.
