Paris, 1 week later

So, I have officially been living in Paris for one week and it has been beyond anything I could ever imagine.  Not only am I in the fashion capital of the world studying fashion, but I am within walking distance of some of the greatest monuments and areas Europe has to offer.  I still have yet to figure out how to discreetly take pictures of the fashionable Parisians walking around Paris but I have been able to take pictures of plenty of other things.

Boat ride on the Seine and it was the first time I saw the Eiffel tower in person.  For those of you who don't know me personally, I am slightly obsessed with the Eiffel Tower.  I have pictures of it all around my room and it's the one thing I have been dying to see while in Paris.

Our first baguette!  My roommate and I got this our second day here for sandwiches and it is glorious.  Eating a sandwich on freshly baked bread is one of the best things about Paris.

The Louvre pyramid!  We saw this on the way to the student fashion show.  Awesome.  I think we will be going into the Louvre tomorrow so I'm very excited about that.

Choussons aux pommes(something with apples) is one of the best pastries I have had here.  It's so flakey and warm every time I get it, I could definitely eat this everyday that I'm here and I think I just might!

Me with the Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe in the background!  We were at La Defense, the financial district of Paris, and the view was amazing.  I can't wait to see it up-close in person.

The bakery near our apartments.  It's so cute and it's where we get all of our delicious baguettes and croissants.

DUCK!  I have eaten duck and I thought it was delicious.  The menu included burgers and fries, which I was very tempted to have but I'm only in Paris for a month so I figured I should definitely try the duck.  Plus, it was cheaper.
