Dear Spring 2012, I love you

Peter Som's collection was bright and floral--everything that I love about spring--and, of course, my favorite pieces were the vibrant maxi dress(because I love maxi-anything) with a sexy slit up the left side.  I just about died when I saw them but when I realized I had so much more of fashion week to see, I slowly revived myself to click on to the next show.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Doo.Ri also had my heart.  The crisp, clean all-white looks, deep-purple pieces and muted grey suits and dresses brought me back down to earth to my neutral tones that I love so much.

(Clearly, I can't get enough.)

Marchesa, Marchesa, Marchesa.  I'm seriously trying to think of one event in my life happening in the future where I'll be able to wear one of these beautiful gowns but I might just have to settle with a glamourous dinner with friends...at my parents house.  Every situation would seem better if I was wearing Marchesa.

OSCAR DE LA RENTA.  ENOUGH SAID.

Unfortunately, school is calling my name but once I'm finished I promise I will have more updates of my favorite shows.  Until then, happy fashion week everyone!

By the way, what do you think about these collections?
Love them?  Hate them?
I need to know.

Party in the Front, Business in the Back

I'm loving the asymmetrical dress trend happening now.  I've been searching the malls high and low to find one but haven't come across anything I would consider spending my money on.  Of course, I am lucky enough to have the internet in my life and it never lets me down.  Let the fabulousness commence!

What do you think?
Love it?  Hate it?
Any fun asymmetrical trend you are loving right now?

Wish List: Bag Lady

It's that time of the year again...time for a new bag!  Every 4-5 months I like to get a new bag to mix it up a bit and I'm usually in need of one.  Buying a bag that often isn't very practical so that's why I like to spend about $30--preferably a little less--on one (unless it's absolutely fantastic, of course).  Here are a few bags I'm loving that won't put much of a dent in my very small and super cute wallet.

What do yo think?
Love it?  Hate it?
What is your perfect bag?

The Kaiser for What?

Just caught wind of Karl Lagerfeld's collection for Macys and it is fabulous, of course.  This fall is proving to be an expensive one--KL August 31 and Zara e-commerce site September 7.  Looks like this girl is going to need some extra hours at work or maybe even a babysitting job or 9.

The anticipation is already killing me.
